It’s Your Time to Shine!

“All the king’s officials know that any man or woman who approaches the king without being summoned will be put to death. And I have not been called to go to the king for thirty days.” — Esther 4:11

Does that sound familiar? Those “Why me?” thoughts? That hesitation?

That’s imposter syndrome whispering lies: Who am I to do this? I don’t belong. I’m not enough.

Faith Over Fear

If Esther battled fear and inadequacy, we shouldn’t be surprised when we do too. Every dreamer, every leader, every woman called by God faces this same inner war.
But Mordecai’s words cut through the noise: “Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14

In that moment, Esther made a choice. She stopped asking “Who am I?” and started standing on “Whose I am.”

She declared: “If I perish, I perish.”

It was her way of saying: I will not let fear or imposter syndrome define me. I will trust God with my future.

What This Means for You

Our divine assignments aren’t about never feeling afraid.

They’re about choosing faith over fear and obedience over hesitation—even when our knees are shaking.

Like Esther, you don’t need a perfect résumé, a flawless past, or a detailed plan.
You just need a willing yes to God.

Pause and ask yourself:
“Where in my life is God calling me to step up, even though I feel unqualified?”
Your Esther moment might not look like standing before a king. It might look like:
• Starting or joining a ministry that sets your soul on fire.
• Writing the book that’s been on your heart.
• Launching that faith-fueled business.
• Or having that difficult, but necessary, conversation.

Whatever it is, remember: you are here, right now, for such a time as this.

Don’t let imposter syndrome keep you small or silent.

Like Esther, step forward in faith—and watch what God will do.
