Hot Faith–in the middle of change
As we prepare to step into another change of seasons, I thought we might pause this week and focus on where Summer 20220 has left our Faith levels. But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands. (Psalm 31:14-15) Can you…
Welcome to Sweet Tea!!
My Dear Husband Mike (aka “honey”) spent 25 years working for the corporate giant Allstate Insurance Company. During his tenure with Allstate one of the many leadership skills that Honey brought home to share with me for use in my (tiny in comparison) ministry, was an exercise that he used…
The Secret to Surviving 35 Years of Marriage!
Today, Honey and I are celebrating 35 Years of Marriage. I have no idea how we made that happen since I am only 45–but that’s another blog 🙂 I wanted to share our secret. This is what I got for our Anniversary. Honey had our Bibles recovered. God ALONE saved…
Living the Vision Youv’e Been Given
I am feeling SO GOOD!! Delirious actually. My amazing husband, family and Staff have been extra good to me over the past week as I have been holed up in my home office–AKA–“CAVE”–writing, writing, writing. Actually, organizing would be the more accurate word. I cannot even tell you how good…

i am so glad I could bless your day !! Love you Mama
That was precious!
I sent it to my mom cause I know she can relate! Also, reminds me of a story about my sweet mother n law – We have learned to laugh with her – not at her- but we always have to be on the ready! She is 79 yrs old and still going pretty strong. Only thing is, for a little while, everytime we saw her, she had used her blue eyeliner as an eyebrow pencil so it was quite a sight!!! And she didn’t just wear it one time, she did this on several occasions. Thankfully, my daughter, shelby, sneaked into her makeup bag and threw the horrid blue pencil away and then took her shopping to get the right shade of brown. Grandma just laughed her funny little laugh and said “Oh I guess I must’ve got it all mixed up!”
We still crack up when we think about those blue eyebrow days with grandma! But I don’t laugh too loud ’cause I know my times coming!

Anita
Anita, I do wonder at what point I might start to use blue eyeliner on my eyebrows 🙂 I know that some gray is showing up in them now and then so I fear the time is near 🙂
Thank you for coming by friend!
