Am I “leaning into change” or just drooping over it?
I am surrounded by CHANGE PAIN. This past week has made me DROOP with discussions about CHANGE. New Paradigms..blah, blah, blah….. New ways of thinking..blah, blah, blah….. The OLD is gone the NEW has come…blah, blah, blah…… One discussion involved my Bible study group, a group of WAY YOUNG CUTIES…
S.E.E.D.S #5–A Call to Listen
For when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, no one listened. Isaiah 66:4b I have not stopped moving (physically and literally) for 6 weeks. I have fallen into bed each night so exhausted I could barely move. We went from helping our son move and having his family…
A Surrendered Life
I woke up this morning with this title in my head. It’s not a new title to me, in fact it will be 28 years old on Saturday June 9. The day I Â surrendered my life to Christ–once and for all. That concept “Surrendered my Life to Christ” is a…

i am so glad I could bless your day !! Love you Mama
That was precious!
I sent it to my mom cause I know she can relate! Also, reminds me of a story about my sweet mother n law – We have learned to laugh with her – not at her- but we always have to be on the ready! She is 79 yrs old and still going pretty strong. Only thing is, for a little while, everytime we saw her, she had used her blue eyeliner as an eyebrow pencil so it was quite a sight!!! And she didn’t just wear it one time, she did this on several occasions. Thankfully, my daughter, shelby, sneaked into her makeup bag and threw the horrid blue pencil away and then took her shopping to get the right shade of brown. Grandma just laughed her funny little laugh and said “Oh I guess I must’ve got it all mixed up!”
We still crack up when we think about those blue eyebrow days with grandma! But I don’t laugh too loud ’cause I know my times coming!

Anita
Anita, I do wonder at what point I might start to use blue eyeliner on my eyebrows 🙂 I know that some gray is showing up in them now and then so I fear the time is near 🙂
Thank you for coming by friend!

Any mom slow dancing on her 80th birthday is a woman who deserves to have a blog post dedicated to her!
Margaret,
How sweet to see you here!
It’s so true right? She’s a doll for sure,
