Gratitude in Motion: Your First Brave Step Into December

We’re stepping into that gentle transition between Thanksgiving and Advent — the space where our hearts are still warm from gratitude, but also ready for what’s next. If you’re anything like me, this stretch of the calendar always feels like a deep breath. A holy pause. A moment to realign my soul before the beautiful whirlwind of December begins.

And this year, I want to invite you into something simple…

Something sacred…
Something powerful:
Let gratitude lead you into obedience.
Not pressure.
Not perfection.
Not performance.

Just the soft, steady “yes” that grows out of remembering God’s faithfulness.
This week, I encourage you to sit down with a warm drink and walk yourself through the Five Things Gratitude Checklist:

Five things God did this year

Five things He healed or is healing

Five things He clarified

Five things you’re thankful for right now

Five things He may be inviting you to step into for 2026
And once you do?
Circle one.
Just one.
Let that one thing become your December beginning — your first brave step into the “Just Do It” season ahead.

You don’t need all the answers.
You don’t need a full plan.
You just need to start where you are.
Gratitude lights the path.
Obedience takes the step.

Friend, I believe this next season is going to be full of God’s fresh direction, healing, and favor over your life. Let’s walk into December with hearts wide open and ready to move.

✨ 3. JOURNALING PROMPT
“Lord, what small step is gratitude nudging me to take as I prepare for December?”
Write freely. Listen deeply.
Let your gratitude become the doorway into your next season.
