When Life Feels Messy
Has your LIFE ever been more than you could take?
Has your LIFE ever been more than you could take?
My suitcase does not have long to gather any cobwebs and neither do I! Praise the Lord! I head out bright and early tomorrow for sunny California. This will be my second trip to that beautiful state this year. This time I do have a bit more time to play!…
Happy Labor day weekend friend–I am trying something a little different on the podcast this week– FIRST–I am sharing some readings from my book Life Unstuck–it just seems right considering our world these days– SECOND–I video taped my recording–Let me know what you think of this idea! You can find…
I am sitting for a few minutes with a cup of coffee looking at the birds flock to my freshly mulched and manicured back yard lawn. It has been a “BLAST” of a weekend in more ways than one. As I shared in my last post, I decided last week…
It has taken me a few days of wallowing in my home to be able to pen this post. Although it was on my heart when I wrote that last one, I just had to have a few days to get my strength back. Strength that I only get from…
I have to tell someone NO today. I don’t want to disappoint anyone. I don’t want anybody mad at me. Mostly, I don’t want to miss something God is asking me to do. This is not a new test. I have faced it often and failed it more. But not…

Thank you for your words of wisdom, Pat. They truly spoke to me this day! I get so excited about the many things I want to do in Christ, that many times I don’t handle any one of them well. You reminded me to slow down, stop, pray and listen. No more impetuous decisions. You are a blessing in my life! Love you! Ellen Philpot
What a great word today! I too am guilty of “doing” without any real direction from Him.
This post is very timely for me. I have been leading a group of ladies in a bible study that will end in two weeks. I do not want to rush ahead of His leading or make assumptions for the future.
Thank you for sharing from your heart and for reminding me of the importance of seeking Him and listening for His direction in ALL things.
Oh friend! You KNOW this is a hot topic for me! Blessings on you as take a listening stop on the road God has you on.
Hugs,
Melinda
Thank you for the reminder!
