ChristmasI love the smells of Christmas. Douglas Fir, Pine scented candles, Cinnamon Cider, Turkey and cookies in the oven. It truly is a magical time that is always precious in it’s own way. Every family has those special years of Christmas where everything is so perfect it looks like a Hallmark card….
I am settling into the TINY town of Artesia, New Mexico struggling NOT to take a belated Sunday afternoon nap. I have to sleep tonight in order to “finish well” my assignment in this windy state. Blissful exhaustion threatens to take me down so I decided to at least make…
Greetings favored woman of God! The Lord is with you!! Luke 1:28 NLT Wow. Now THERE is a divine appointment. What precious words. Priceless. Timeless. Life Changing. Can you just imagine Mary’s first response to those words? As a woman we sometimes yearn for words of blessing and…
I am busy about finalizing my preparations for our upcoming “Freedom Weekend” first in SanAntonio followed by another weekend in Denver, Colorado! Talk about packing challenges. The weather in Texas is in the 80’s and in the mountains of Colorado it is still in the 40’s!! Our team has been…

Thank you for your words of wisdom, Pat. They truly spoke to me this day! I get so excited about the many things I want to do in Christ, that many times I don’t handle any one of them well. You reminded me to slow down, stop, pray and listen. No more impetuous decisions. You are a blessing in my life! Love you! Ellen Philpot

This post is very timely for me. I have been leading a group of ladies in a bible study that will end in two weeks. I do not want to rush ahead of His leading or make assumptions for the future.
Thank you for sharing from your heart and for reminding me of the importance of seeking Him and listening for His direction in ALL things.
Oh friend! You KNOW this is a hot topic for me! Blessings on you as take a listening stop on the road God has you on.
Hugs,
Melinda
Thank you for the reminder!
