Has your LIFE ever been more than you could take?
Greetings to those of you who are new to my blogs and to those faithful few who are emailing me to say “Where are you??!!” I know some of us met last week in either Houston or Nashville. Both were amazing!! I would love to hear your feedback about those events. …
I hope you had a chance to sit with God’s Word, soak in the richness of 2 John and consider the questions I posed. These are my intended answers: 1) Truth and Love (also found in Ephesians 4:15) 2) Being UN-balanced 3) False Teachers=a) Those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as…
Welcome New Friends! I am so excited to know that I have some new guests for “Sweet Tea” today. Some of you have stopped by for a visit after our meeting yesterday in Green Bay, Wisconsin at Lifeway’s Fully Loaded. Others of you have stopped by after visiting the Proverbs…
My daughter Julianna and I were watching the movie “Nazareth” the other night when she whispered out loud, “Of all the women in the world, wonder why God chose Mary?” My thoughtless response was “she was willing”. No real contemplation, just an automatic, “wise woman of God”, “Bible Teacher that…
Liz Curtis Higgs may be one of my favorite writers, speakers and women in ministry of all time! She just is. I have always loved Liz’s books–both her Fiction and Non-Fiction fill my book shelves. I mean still my beating heart for Whence Came a Prince (Waterbrook, 2005). When I…

Thank you for your words of wisdom, Pat. They truly spoke to me this day! I get so excited about the many things I want to do in Christ, that many times I don’t handle any one of them well. You reminded me to slow down, stop, pray and listen. No more impetuous decisions. You are a blessing in my life! Love you! Ellen Philpot
What a great word today! I too am guilty of “doing” without any real direction from Him.
This post is very timely for me. I have been leading a group of ladies in a bible study that will end in two weeks. I do not want to rush ahead of His leading or make assumptions for the future.
Thank you for sharing from your heart and for reminding me of the importance of seeking Him and listening for His direction in ALL things.
Oh friend! You KNOW this is a hot topic for me! Blessings on you as take a listening stop on the road God has you on.
Hugs,
Melinda
Thank you for the reminder!
