When Life Feels Messy
Has your LIFE ever been more than you could take?
Has your LIFE ever been more than you could take?
I’m guessing those words grabbed your attention like they did mine! Right?! I spotted them in a social media post by my Author/Leader friend Cindy Bultema I love Cindy’s overall message and ministry so her posts always get my attention. This one did for sure. Cindy shared that the words…
Alaska!! I was speaking at a conference in Dallas last year, in the heat of Summer BTW, when a woman with a funny accent approached me. She said “God told our team before we came to this conference that He would show us who He was going to use to…
I am going to allow myself 15 minutes to complete this post since the last one I did about Crabbing took me about 4 HOURS!!! (Don’t ask me why). In any case, I have only gotten 2 sweet comments on it so apparently it did not stir the hot pot…
All my bloggy friends and family know that airplanes are NOT my favorite place to be. The great news is that over the past 3 1/2 years God has flung me into the air, He alone has also delivered me from the absolute terror that used tme latch on to…
Ring…Ring….Ring… “Hello” “Hello Pat” Hello?? Who is this? Is this a sales call? “Pat, It’s ME! This is God.” “God Who?” “Excuse Me??” “Sorry Lord, I just didn’t expect to hear from you today” Could this ever happen to you? Are you like me sometimes and kind of put God…

Thank you for your words of wisdom, Pat. They truly spoke to me this day! I get so excited about the many things I want to do in Christ, that many times I don’t handle any one of them well. You reminded me to slow down, stop, pray and listen. No more impetuous decisions. You are a blessing in my life! Love you! Ellen Philpot
What a great word today! I too am guilty of “doing” without any real direction from Him.
This post is very timely for me. I have been leading a group of ladies in a bible study that will end in two weeks. I do not want to rush ahead of His leading or make assumptions for the future.
Thank you for sharing from your heart and for reminding me of the importance of seeking Him and listening for His direction in ALL things.
Oh friend! You KNOW this is a hot topic for me! Blessings on you as take a listening stop on the road God has you on.
Hugs,
Melinda
Thank you for the reminder!
