Do I REALLY Love Fall?
The times–they are a changing–right?!
As we pray and reach out to our friends who have been literally uprooted by hurricane Florence our own awareness can’t help but be awakened to FALL around the corner.
Physically, mentally and spiritually–FALL is faithful to return.
I have often said “Fall is my favorite season!”
The truth is–God says things in the change of seasons.
He speaks.
He nudges.
He transforms.
He sets some things to die so that new things have place to bloom.
He knows more than I know. Lots more. He is braver than I am. Lots braver.
Those of us who love Fall, see beauty in the transition from one season to another. Still, as we dare to FULLY EMBRACE the journey from one season to another–we have to be willing to let go of old stuff.
I don’t always like that. I don’t USUALLY like that.
It is my determined intention to FULLY EMBRACE FALL 2018.
To watch.
To listen.
To touch.
To let go.
