We Fix our Gaze!
A daughter recently killed in a car accident.
I am happy to be home but my heart is still warm and full towards my California Sisters.
It was my honor to be in their midst and my joy to continue our Eternal journey together!!

My New Years idea to bless some new friend with “Life: Beautiful” magazine for a year turned out to be my blessing. That is what usually happens isn’t it? So often when we attempt to do something good for someone else, we get even better stuff back. You know the promise,…
A few weeks back I was lamenting my lack of time to bring a little feeling of Fall into my home. I finally grabbed a few hours last weekend to drag some things from my attic and place them around my house before my daughter came home for fall break….
Do I want to live or do I want to die? I’m thinking—DIE. Just die. Right now. As I struggled to open my eyes I wasn’t aware of all that was going on around me but one thing I knew beyond a shadow of doubt–my freezing cold, naked bottom was…
I have a confession to make. I still use a 3 ring day timer. I keep my calendar in there along with my “To Do” list, address book and various other daily life survival valuables. My “To Do” list looks especially long right now with added things like: 1) Pick…
I am actually enjoying a moment right now that is an example of one of the things that “Sweet Tea” is all about for me. Enjoying the moment! Honey has just provided me with freshly cut grass which I absolutely love but which does not last very long during these…
Yesterday was the first day of the third week of Advent. I have so many things on my heart as I meditate on God’s Word and press in to experience His Birth in a fresh new way this Christmas Yesterday we visited our middle son’s church to hear our 4…
Thank you, Pat. Your visit to California opened a room in my heart I had no idea had been locked. We (the Holy Spirit and I) are in the process of doing an inventory in preparation for some redecorating!
Hugs & blessings,
Crabby Magnolia
What an awesome time it was! God did indeed move, sweet friend.
It sounds wonderful! God is so good, ALL of the time.
Bless you!
Jennifer
Hi Ladies,
Thank you for stopping in for “Sweet Tea”. I am still thinking and thanking God for His work this weekend. It was GOOOOD!!
Love you!

Wow Pat. I wish I was there to hear it live and in person. I can’t wait to hear the details in the nail chair. So glad your back home safely.
See you soon.
Great job!
What a blessing. The flowers are just gorgeous. Sounds like an amazing time. And the ladies with all those 3-D glasses. We did that once in church. Women’s conferences are always such an amazing time of healing, restoration, blessing, friendships, etc.
Thanks for sharing. Haven’t seen you in awhile. Hope you are well.
Thank you for sharing this post. What a comfort to know that God is our Healer, our Comforter, and restores all things to new. What a great reminder to keep our focus on Him.
Hello Pat,
Thank you again for helping me deliver my three little lost people into the Father's hands. This is just the beginning of the journey, but I can move parts of me that I never knew were frozen before the Fix Our Gaze conference at Crossroads.
I'll keep in touch as the healing proceeds, but just wanted to let you know that the Lord used you in a very surprising way to speak to me.
Hugs & Blessings,
How I needed to be reminded of the truth of 2 Corinthians 4 this morning. I pray that my “present trouble” “won’t last very long”. I pray that I’ll be able to fix my gaze to see His blessing in the middle of this trial.
Although right now I am overwhelmed, God has not abandoned me. I will look for Him today.
Adjusting my gaze,
Joy
