The Peace of an UnRushed YES!

I have to tell someone NO today.

I don’t want to disappoint anyone. I don’t want anybody mad at me. Mostly, I don’t want to miss something God is asking me to do. This is not a new test. I have faced it often and failed it more. But not this time. Not today. Today I KNOW that this NO is the best thing for me. It will open some space for my Best Yes! I have processed, I have prayed and I have had some REALLY GREAT COACHING!

I have many precious friends who are writers and speakers. I love to share about all of them when I can. When the message of a book resonates with me or has actually worked in my life, I love to tell others about it. This is a message to be  shared. This is a message that has changed me and a whole lot of other people. Check out this message from Michael Hyatt today!

It will change you as well.

Can you even show me a woman is not faced with “making wise decisions in the midst of endless demands”? I don’t think so. We all are faced every day with questions like…”Shouldn’t I do this? They really need me! But if I say YES to that, what about them? If I say YES to that, how will I be able to have time for these?”. EVERYBODY deals with these challenges. When to say “YES” and when to say “NO” and “WHY?”

My friend Lysa TerKeurst has beautifully penned a heart stirring, transparent and easy to embrace process of helping us evaluate all of our options and UN-RUSH our lives so that more space is created for truly hearing and following our Best Yes.

The thing I love most about saying YES to this book, is that when you do, you will be saying YES to an even bigger project. Check it our here!

The book officially releases tomorrow and tomorrow night will be a live webcast full of fun and surprises plus LOTS of really cool people! I’ll be there and I’ll be adding to the FREE STUFF through my little space in cyber world.

SAY YES! You will be glad you did! I know I am.  Then say a little prayer for me, I’m about to say NO This post is part of Lysa TerKeurst’s “The Best Yes” Blog Tour which I am delighted to be a part of along with many other bloggers.

  1. I actually got a sneak peak into one if the videos about “The Best Yes” it was so encouraging and insightful. I want to take the challenge to say no. I know when I start school this fall. I will have to say no to somethings. I can’t do it all.
