A few weeks back I was lamenting my lack of time to bring a little feeling of Fall into my home. I finally grabbed a few hours last weekend to drag some things from my attic and place them around my house before my daughter came home for fall break….
As promised yesterday, here 5 of my Lessons Learned (or Re-Learned) in a Sunflower Maze– in no particular order. Lesson Number 1–Old ladies DO have important things to say! When I was a very young Mom, my honey and I took our very young boys on a White Water Rafting…
A post of my sweet little sister, Lysa Terkeurst a few days ago made me laugh! She was talking about the SIZE battle that us girls go through that leads us to wear clothes are are too small, just so that we can claim a size that feels acceptable to us! …

My baby girl – same age – is heading off next weekend, too! It’s wonderful having her home and it’s wonderful that she’s excited to go back.
It’s also wonderful that hubs and I really happen to enjoy each other, since we’re “all we got” when she leaves! :o)
XO Melinda
Melnda,
I know that you know the PAIN of it all 🙂
