Summer does seem to be the fastest moving season doesn’t it?
We have just slipped through yet another fly by weekend. I have long ago given up trying to figure out where the moments go or how I might somehow capture them in my mind for retrieval when I have time to really savor them. The best that I can hope…
Sometimes I miss my quiet times. Even smack in the middle of a 40 day Journey with Jesus, sometimes I miss sitting still in my Prayer Chair. I miss stopping everything for a few quiet moments of just Him and Me. No distractions other than my journal; a devotional book…
It has been 10 days since my last post. I know, you have all been holding your breath for my return. Life just goes by so fast doesn’t it??!! Have I said that before?? My little college girl and I have had sweet tea in 4 states since I last checked…

My baby girl – same age – is heading off next weekend, too! It’s wonderful having her home and it’s wonderful that she’s excited to go back.
It’s also wonderful that hubs and I really happen to enjoy each other, since we’re “all we got” when she leaves! :o)
XO Melinda
Melnda,
I know that you know the PAIN of it all 🙂
