Last week, I had the amazing honor of presenting a workshop at Proverbs 31 Ministries “She Speaks” Conference. What a TREAT! I have always loved and believed in this ministry. The founder, Lysa Terkeurst is one of my favorite people and has been a dear friend for over 20 years. I have attended…
Confession is GOOD for the soul. God says so. My Bible Gateway listed 41 scripture verses for just the word CONFESS. 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the…
A few weeks ago I took a weekend girl trip back to the place of my birth, Savannah, Georgia. I grew up being referred to as a “Georgia Peach”. I am defiantly a Southern Girl to the core and was raised on Sweet Tea and Southern Hospitality. My recent trip to Savannah…
I woke up this morning considering the gift of smell. This is a season of sweet smells. Christmas Tree Pine. Goodies baking in the oven. Scented Candles. Fireplace flames. I recently read in USA Today, that when interviewed about what they would be willing to sacrifice in exchange for the…

My baby girl – same age – is heading off next weekend, too! It’s wonderful having her home and it’s wonderful that she’s excited to go back.
It’s also wonderful that hubs and I really happen to enjoy each other, since we’re “all we got” when she leaves! :o)
XO Melinda
Melnda,
I know that you know the PAIN of it all 🙂
