What Does Hurricane Irma Have In Common With Salty Grace?
YIKES! Has this ever been a crazy month, right?!! Our theme has been TRANSITIONS!! OH MY! We have had some transition this month, all across the entire world!
As you read this today I am likely in an airplane headed to San Antonio, Tx to speak at a large woman’s event for a ministry called Any Woman Can to speak about guess, what….The Parting of the Red Sea!
God is so amazing. He set that topic in the hearts of the event planners early in the year.
Little did we know then just how clearly we would be seeing God’s hand on the seas and in our lives this past month!
As one hurricane chases another and one holy stomping and claiming Jesus protection and provision session rolls into another–life in general has felt a bit like living in the eye of the storm, with an earthquake thrown in for a dash of increased prayer and a heap of increased faith.
I am ever grateful that my own home and my those of my family members have been spared from any major damage, but my heart and prayers will not be eased for those who have lost so much and those who are still in harms way.
At times like this I always wonder how ANYONE could survive this level of drama and trauma without JESES?!!!
That thought is immediately followed by my own opportunity to share HIM every way that I can.
Our verse today for our September Month of Mondays “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that ou may know how to answer everyone”. Colossians 4:6
We all have our trials and troubles but our good news to share is JESUS HAS OVERCOME!
He is not overwhelmed.
He is still on the throne and He still has the whole world in His hands!
