Giving Thanks in ALL Circumstances

Among more things than I could ever name here on a blog post……..

I am thankful to be sitting in the lobby of a really cool hotel in Illinois in clean clothes. American Airlines and United Airlines have finally stopped arguing about who is responsible and has located our luggage after two days of unbelievably bad customer service. If you are a regular blog friend you know that we have walked this road before–just a few weeks ago.

I am thankful to have arrived here safely.

I am thankful that my precious daughter, who by all “reasonable” statistics would not be alive today is taking a shower, putting on clean clothes and preparing to share “The Word of her Testimony” (Rev 12:11), speaking at a large event with me tonight for the first time.
I have known this day would come for over 21 years. God has known since time began.

I am thankful that we have a new team of trained “Surrendering the Secret” Leaders who are passionate and ready to reach the broken hearted in their communities.

I am thankful for amazing ministries like Lifetime Pregnancy Help Center who are ready and willing to serve those hearts located in Springfield, Ill, as Jesus commanded in Luke 10:25-37.

I am thankful to be allowed to serve God through the restoration and redemption that He has provided in spite of my sinful heart and my impatience with lost luggage and poor business management.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

  2. How awesome is it that my sweet cousin will be sharing her testimony tonight with you! The Lord has truly done a work in that young woman and I wish I could be there to witness the miracles that God is going to do! I will be praying for you both and for all of the women in attendance that their hearts will be open to His word and to His blessings!

    Love you Aunt Pat!!
