Fresh Word Friday
I use lots of different methods to keep my time in God’s Word fresh.

There are times in life when heartbreak hits so hard, so fast, so unexpected–your breath leaves your body and the sound of your own tears is all that is going on in the entire universe. Sometimes the thing that breaks your heart is something everybody understands. The death of a…
I crawled into bed at 12:30 am after last nights Bible Study. Who does that? How many small groups or Bible Studies have you been to recently where the group was so passionate about hearing, learning and sharing God’s truth that they could barely break away. I honestly think we…
Do I want to live or do I want to die? I’m thinking—DIE. Just die. Right now. As I struggled to open my eyes I wasn’t aware of all that was going on around me but one thing I knew beyond a shadow of doubt–my freezing cold, naked bottom was…
I have a confession to make. I still use a 3 ring day timer. I keep my calendar in there along with my “To Do” list, address book and various other daily life survival valuables. My “To Do” list looks especially long right now with added things like: 1) Pick…
It was a James Bond moment. Jesus, with his head tucked into his tunic so that no one would recognize him, hugged the dark street corners until his hand landed on a doorknob. Hoping nobody was home, he tried to sneak quietly into a strangers’ house on a strange road….

Great word today (or Friday actually). I have been hanging out in the book of Romans off and on for the past year… I can’t seem to get out of it for long. Not that I want to. The words that keep jumping off the pages at me are all about “grace”. Grace, grace and more grace. The free gifts provided already …available to all who would believe. Makes me weak in the knees.
Have you ever read through it in the NLT?
Meems,
I see that you are up and about late this Sunday evening.
I so agree, If not for GRACE, where oh where would be be.
Thank you for the visit!
