Days of Delight

I went for my Annual Eye exam last week. One of the procedures they perform is for you to press your head up against a little machine and have a what they tell you will be a “puff” of air shoot into your eye. I didn’t ask WHAT this does…
As promised yesterday, here 5 of my Lessons Learned (or Re-Learned) in a Sunflower Maze– in no particular order. Lesson Number 1–Old ladies DO have important things to say! When I was a very young Mom, my honey and I took our very young boys on a White Water Rafting…
I have just returned from 4 days of filling up on God, so much in fact, that I am sweetly drained. The video clip that I have posted is just but a tiny testement to all that God did over the weekend from “Fully Loaded” to “Living Proof Live”. This…

Now that’s a freedom statement! It seems like the moment I turned the corner towards 50 I began to experience the physical process of aging. Aches and pains that appeared out of nowhere. The need for different kinds of eye glasses for everything I do. The 10 pounds that suddenly…
I have a confession to make. I still use a 3 ring day timer. I keep my calendar in there along with my “To Do” list, address book and various other daily life survival valuables. My “To Do” list looks especially long right now with added things like: 1) Pick…

Oh how I long for some hours of uninterrupted conversation! It was a delight for ME to read all of this and know in advance that God is going to knock your socks off this summer!
Enjoy every bloomin’ minute of it!
I love you Pat.

God is taking you where He wants you to go! Keep sharing the TRUTH of His Word. Keep praying and caring for those you meet. It’s one-on-one – just like JESUS did!

Pat,
Thank you for your wonderful comment over at The Point. “Doing it afraid” is a great phrase. I will definitely use it again.
This fear thing is so new to me. Truly, I am not trying to brag or sound prideful but I’ve just never battled fear until I stepped into ministry. I know it makes perfect sense–a tactic of the enemy. I so desire to walk in victory and I know that the Lord and I CAN walk in victory over it.
God bless you as you minister this summer. I’m off to check out your speaking schedule…would love to hear you.

Pat,
I just prayed this morning for cancer to cease. Simply, cease. God can do it, He is a big God. I also just put to memory a verse that is so encouraging me:
God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love and more love!” Jeremiah 31:3 MSG
I wonder and ponder…how often do we expect good? Perhaps not enough!!!
Lovingly,
Yolanda
Praise Him for His wonderful Mercy and Grace! I am glad that you had a great time and got some much needed rest.
Looking forward to journeying with you.
