I start pretty much every morning, when I am in town, sitting in my prayer chair (the green one on the right by the window). One of my favorite things about my home is that it is full of light. I have lots of windows so usually, when I come…
“Who among the Gods is like you Lord? WHO IS LIKE YOU–majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?” Exodus 15:11 I stretched across my daughters curled up, hoodie covered, sleeping body–from my middle seat on the airplane–all the while straining my sleepy eyes for a middle of the night…
Our family enjoyed such a precious Easter Celebration weekend. I loved watching God work in our beautiful worship service that brought many new souls to the Cross. I loved being one of the last cars to pull from the parking lot after praying for some church family friends. I loved…
The U-haul is gone. The boxes are all unpacked. The cabinets are organized. The rocking chairs are in place. I should relax now right? WRONG! I have NEW pressure! One thing I know for sure is that where one “To Do” list stops–another one starts. Thats GOOD NEWS! Honestly, although…
I knew I was about to have some fun when THESE kept us from getting the Bible Study started on time– I’ll admit, I completely understand even though I was the OLDEST in the room….by a decade! Even I was ooohhhing and awwwing over these heels– Last night was the…
I’m late and late, for a very important date…..and other such chatter. I was supposed to do my “Smell Good Give-Away on Monday but the day just passed me by in a whirlwind of activity. Today has been no different and tomorrow promises to be FULL 🙂 but I knew…

Oh how I long for some hours of uninterrupted conversation! It was a delight for ME to read all of this and know in advance that God is going to knock your socks off this summer!
Enjoy every bloomin’ minute of it!
I love you Pat.

God is taking you where He wants you to go! Keep sharing the TRUTH of His Word. Keep praying and caring for those you meet. It’s one-on-one – just like JESUS did!

Pat,
Thank you for your wonderful comment over at The Point. “Doing it afraid” is a great phrase. I will definitely use it again.
This fear thing is so new to me. Truly, I am not trying to brag or sound prideful but I’ve just never battled fear until I stepped into ministry. I know it makes perfect sense–a tactic of the enemy. I so desire to walk in victory and I know that the Lord and I CAN walk in victory over it.
God bless you as you minister this summer. I’m off to check out your speaking schedule…would love to hear you.

Pat,
I just prayed this morning for cancer to cease. Simply, cease. God can do it, He is a big God. I also just put to memory a verse that is so encouraging me:
God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love and more love!” Jeremiah 31:3 MSG
I wonder and ponder…how often do we expect good? Perhaps not enough!!!
Lovingly,
Yolanda
Praise Him for His wonderful Mercy and Grace! I am glad that you had a great time and got some much needed rest.
Looking forward to journeying with you.
