Days of Delight

Send forth your LIGHT and your TRUTH, let them guide me; let them bring me to your Holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Psalm 43:3 One of the things I am most thankful for since my surrender to Christ on June 9, 1984, if not THE THING I am…
I am busy about finalizing my preparations for our upcoming “Freedom Weekend” first in SanAntonio followed by another weekend in Denver, Colorado! Talk about packing challenges. The weather in Texas is in the 80’s and in the mountains of Colorado it is still in the 40’s!! Our team has been…
One of my new joys this year has been joining my firstborn Grandson for Christian Rock Concerts. WhooHoo!! I do love music and I love to be “actively involved” in worship. In other words, I like to jump up and down and lift my hands and Praise the Lord! I have…
Can I get a witness? Have you ever spoken those words–or at least thought about speaking them? Have you ever felt that you had taken about as much as you could of life? relationships? expectations? pointless efforts? unmet needs? rejection? heartbreak? I definitely have. We are not alone. The pages…
You know those days in your memories that when you recall them you can actually FEEL them; smell them; hear them—memories that are so vivid it as if you are there agin every time. The day I met my husband is one of those days in my memories. He know…
Hi ladies, I have missed saying hello but I have been a bit of a traveling fool 🙂 I have loads of stories to tell and lots of fun to share but I’m leaving again on Friday for another Summer run. In case you live around these parts, I’ll be…

Oh how I long for some hours of uninterrupted conversation! It was a delight for ME to read all of this and know in advance that God is going to knock your socks off this summer!
Enjoy every bloomin’ minute of it!
I love you Pat.

God is taking you where He wants you to go! Keep sharing the TRUTH of His Word. Keep praying and caring for those you meet. It’s one-on-one – just like JESUS did!

Pat,
Thank you for your wonderful comment over at The Point. “Doing it afraid” is a great phrase. I will definitely use it again.
This fear thing is so new to me. Truly, I am not trying to brag or sound prideful but I’ve just never battled fear until I stepped into ministry. I know it makes perfect sense–a tactic of the enemy. I so desire to walk in victory and I know that the Lord and I CAN walk in victory over it.
God bless you as you minister this summer. I’m off to check out your speaking schedule…would love to hear you.

Pat,
I just prayed this morning for cancer to cease. Simply, cease. God can do it, He is a big God. I also just put to memory a verse that is so encouraging me:
God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love and more love!” Jeremiah 31:3 MSG
I wonder and ponder…how often do we expect good? Perhaps not enough!!!
Lovingly,
Yolanda
Praise Him for His wonderful Mercy and Grace! I am glad that you had a great time and got some much needed rest.
Looking forward to journeying with you.
