Days of Delight

Hi friend—I am so glad you are here! Today, we’re getting real about something that every woman of faith faces: the thoughts that whisper “You can’t.” We’re right in the middle of our Esther Series, and this week we’re getting practical. If you’ve ever thought things like: I’m not enough….
I knew I was about to have some fun when THESE kept us from getting the Bible Study started on time– I’ll admit, I completely understand even though I was the OLDEST in the room….by a decade! Even I was ooohhhing and awwwing over these heels– Last night was the…
10 days between posts does NOT a blogger make…..Life is just so freaky fast isn’t it? I have been pressing towards my FOCUS quest shared about HERE. Working to be certain that my days are in some sort of order and attempting to apply a tiny bit of a higher…
Sometimes we just have to STUFF ourselves! I recently had a cupcake baking day with my youngest G-Girl. She LOVED every minute of it as you can see. When I have my grand kids for a day or a spend-the-night, I set myself aside to give them my undivided attention….
Our ministry once had a consultant come in who ran some sort of test on all of our team to determine gifts/talents and “teachable” weaknesses 🙂 I had lots of those! The bottom line “label” that he put on me was “Quick Start”. In fact, he said through all his…
If you are like me changing the world is not really on your daily “To Do” list. Most days I can barely get the toilet paper changed, keep cash in my wallet or remember to take the clothes out of the dryer, much less, change the world. However, truth is…

Oh how I long for some hours of uninterrupted conversation! It was a delight for ME to read all of this and know in advance that God is going to knock your socks off this summer!
Enjoy every bloomin’ minute of it!
I love you Pat.

God is taking you where He wants you to go! Keep sharing the TRUTH of His Word. Keep praying and caring for those you meet. It’s one-on-one – just like JESUS did!

Pat,
Thank you for your wonderful comment over at The Point. “Doing it afraid” is a great phrase. I will definitely use it again.
This fear thing is so new to me. Truly, I am not trying to brag or sound prideful but I’ve just never battled fear until I stepped into ministry. I know it makes perfect sense–a tactic of the enemy. I so desire to walk in victory and I know that the Lord and I CAN walk in victory over it.
God bless you as you minister this summer. I’m off to check out your speaking schedule…would love to hear you.

Pat,
I just prayed this morning for cancer to cease. Simply, cease. God can do it, He is a big God. I also just put to memory a verse that is so encouraging me:
God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love and more love!” Jeremiah 31:3 MSG
I wonder and ponder…how often do we expect good? Perhaps not enough!!!
Lovingly,
Yolanda
Praise Him for His wonderful Mercy and Grace! I am glad that you had a great time and got some much needed rest.
Looking forward to journeying with you.
