Day 19–What is Your Passionate Pursuit for 2019?

Day 19 – Unstuck Passion

If only you would slay the wicked, O God! Away from me, you bloodthirsty men! Psalm 139:19

Unstuck Truth 19: God wants to take your passions and turn them into His passionate pursuit.

Remember friend—God’s Passion is GOOD! However, we do have an enemy who is always trying to twist up what God means for our good. It is important for us to remember that our enemy is NOT people, places or things.

Read 1 Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Try this. Sit down with your favorite cup of tea, coffee, fruit juice…whatever…and a few pieces of paper and a good pen. Choose a pen you enjoy writing with and begin to remember how God has made you.

What do you do that makes you come alive?
What in your past were defining moments in developing who you are today?
What major obstacles have you overcome?
What is your personality?
What are your spiritual gifts?
What are your dreams?
What have you always wanted to do?
What have Godly people, people you trust, suggested you should try?
After all the journaling and list-making, I want you to do four things, and only four things.

Prepare: Consider what you are passionate about. What you feel God is calling you to change, fight for, defend—then study and prepare yourself with knowledge and understanding about what God says about that topic.

Perspective: Ask another woman you trust to be praying for you as you seek to apprehend that for which you were apprehended.

Pray: Ask the Holy Spirit to begin to guide your heart and mind and decisions towards where He wants you to go and do with Him.

Pause: Wait eagerly for a response from the Lord. He will show you what steps to take. Wait on Him!

Take some time to consider and ask God, where is my passion Lord?

Where would you have it be?

I AM VICTORIOUS! (Romans 8:37; 2 Corinthians 2:14; 1 John 5:4)
