1) I would still have REAL people, with WARM blood flowing through their veins, answer telephone calls regarding flights. 2) I would not charge to let someone “EARLY check-in”, after all, they would be doing ME a favor. 3) I would encourage checking bags so that my guests–who PAID me…
The refrigerator has been cleaned out of leftovers that have been pulled in and out of the fridge and microwaved 4 or 5 times over the past 4 days. All that was salvaged has been made into soup. Yesterday I gathered everything that is brown, yellow, gold or orange that…
My granddaughter is singing praises to God as she plays Tea Party with American Girl dolls on my family room floor. She is happy. She is safe. She is hopeful. She is peaceful. She is more than adored. She is deeply loved. She is singing. Today is a Good Day….
My firstborn son Tim and his beautiful wife Kim jumped into blog world a couple of months ago. Since then they have created a variety of beautiful blogs and made friends all over the Nation. They are having a blast using lots of the creative energy (not to mention computer…
Honey and I woke up this morning, day 3 of our mountain getaway, to the sounds of a steady rain filling the air in the cottage. You can see by the photo below why this beautiful place is called a mountain “cottage” rather than a mountain “cabin”. It is…
Have you ever felt like the big breakthrough you’ve been praying for just isn’t coming fast enough? Maybe you’ve planted seeds—written the book, started the ministry, launched the project—and you’re watching the soil, wondering when you’ll finally see fruit. I get it. I’ve been there, too. There are seasons in…

I am excited, too, for McCain’s choice! I feel like the election got a little jolt. Hooray!
You were the first person I thought of when the announcement was made! So awesome!
Dido that. Now, let’s make sure they get into office!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog…you are welcome anytime. Pretty serious stuff you talk about. I like it and I’ll be back! btw my name is Pat also. lol
I eagerly waited for the announcement and then watched her entire speech the day McCain declared Palin his running mate.
She was truly inspiring to listen to. My thought as I heard her… “This is a good day for America.” What a role model!
I was very encouraged as to the outcome of this election with her as the surprise running mate.
She is a fresh face to Washington with experience on the Executive level. She has great personal stories that she’s lived out … just like the rest of middle America. Apparently she has a record for hard hitting against corruption and wasteful spending. Wow… do we need that.
The two of them together (McCain and Palin)might give us the most pro-life ticket and most pro-life platform in history… that’s exciting.
Now we need to pray that every registered voter get out and place their vote!
I too, am excited about the VP choice!
Happy Labor Day Ladies!
Let’s all agree to keep this election in our prayers. God is full of surprises and blessings.
Let’s keep our voices before Him as we take our most effective position for our Nation..on our knees!
Blessings,
Pat
