Abundant Life Promises!

[ The Story of the Seeds ]

As they went from town to town, a lot of people joined in and traveled along. He addressed them, using this story: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. Some of it fell on the road; it was tramped down and the birds ate it. Other seed fell in the gravel; it sprouted, but withered because it didn’t have good roots. Other seed fell in the weeds; the weeds grew with it and strangled it. Other seed fell in rich earth and produced a bumper crop. “Are you listening to this? Really listening?”

In Luke 8:4-8 Jesus not only teaches me how to LIVE, He teaches me how to write.

As I move from my prayer chair to my computer this morning, I am asking God to move my hands across the keyboard dropping some words on a page that change lives. Starting with MINE! I WANT MORE of Jesus and less of ME! I want  ALL THAT JESUS CAME FOR.

I do not want to leave a single “WITHERED SEED” that was meant to be a BLOOM for me. A BLOOM for Him!

Jesus said in John 10:10 that the enemy has but one agenda, to STEAL-KILL-and DESTROY the “Bumper Crop” of our lives. BUT that Jesus came so that we would know the way to ABUNDANT–FULL–Blooming life!

God does have a plan for your life. He has a GREAT plan. He has a wonderful plan. His plan is for your health, your financial provision, your kids, your marriage, your ministry!

Regardless of who it looks today. When we trust Him and plant our SEEDS in the rich, healthy soil of His promises–we will BLOOM and Grow!

So, today, I dug up some promises that I really need to plant a bit deeper into my heart and life. Right now. Today!

If you will leave a comment below telling me the ONE SEED (Word) that you need RICH EARTH for today–for example:

Courage

Health

Hope

Finances

Marriage

Ministry

I will send the Abundant Life Promises to you today and we can believe God together.

In His Grip,

Pat

  1. My one seed is “wisdom”.
Here is why! I have recently lost my job and am pursuing to sell AVON from home.
I just started my Masters Degree in Psych.
I am the children s team leader for a new plant church.
and most importantly my son that is five years old just lost his best buddy in kindergarten class due to a horrific dirt bike accident. He was hit by a 18 wheeler. They were pals and always looked forward to seeing each other. We went to his funeral yesterday one of the hardest things I have ever done.
I need wisdom to be able to to speak to my children about death and life so that they will hold JESUS HOPE in their heart to see Tristan again, wisdom to console and be patient as they process all of these feelings. I need wisdom to push through these up coming Psych classes, I need wisdom to sell AVON, and I need wisdom on how to keep being the best wife I can be to my husband. SO basically I need Gods wisdom all the way around and to continue to trust even when I dont understand. I know GOD is in control and I cannot so any of this without HIM. I am just feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment. Thank you for all your encouragement and posts I truly appreciate them.
    Have a blessed day!

    2. I can so relate, dear Karen. There is a peculiar hole created in the heart of a woman at the loss of her mother. You are in my heart and prayers today and hereafter. I wish you love and deep heart-peace as you heal and as good memories begin to overtake the ache of loss. God bless you, lovely.

  2. Guidance
There are substantial circumstances we are navigating with my young adult son, critical decisions to make this morning, and several other family matters. Trusting HIS wisdom and provision in it all, sight unseen, and desperate for HIS voice to be clear. Todah, dear sister!

    1. Blessings Debbie!
God is faithful with our children but sometimes the process is a drain isn’t it?
      Sending the promises your way!
