A Sisterhood of Surrender

I had an amazing time this past weekend in Grand Rapids at our Imagine Me..Set Free Conference.

God did just what He said He would do and MORE!! (Ephesians 3:20) We had right at 400 beautiful women who were filled with expectation and surrendered hearts.

The worship was precious and anointed. The small group leaders were outstanding. The church host team was such a blessing to us girls, opening every single space and going to great extremes to meet every need–and a few awesome things we didn’t “need” like a Sunflower Ice Sculpture!

One of the things that blesses my heart over and over is the sweet spirit that bonds us together as women no matter how far apart we live or how different our living can be. It is such a gift to meet so many beautiful God chasing women as I travel all over the nation. A sisterhood of Christ that transcends state lines and denominational barriers.

My heart has now connected with 400 new sisters in Christ that I will treasure forever. In fact, reading the feedback sheets on the plane flight home was such a HIGH I think I could have made it without Delta 🙂

Speaking of plane rides home from a speaking event, last summer I met a very lovely young woman on just such a flight who just so happens to be a fellow writer and one who shares a story not so different from my own. We had such a wonderful time visiting on that flight that hours passed like minutes and a new friendship was born.

Her name is Natalie Snapp. Her blog is adorable and called Mommy on Fire. She has kindly shared her story and how it connects with my own new book A Surrendered Life, on her blog today.

Thank you sweet Natalie. You are precious!!

I would be so blessed if you would stop by and say hello on my behalf.

I have so many fresh things on my heart and mind to share with you so…I’ll be back 🙂
