6 things PRAISE will do to change your life!
My darling daughter Julianna is often photographed with her feet high off the ground. Her joy just lifts her into the air.
I gathered a few samples from my IPhoto to show you but believe me, I could fill an album. The reason she is so often air born is partially because she is such a physical lightweight but also, she is often filled with joy and praise!
She always has been.
Julianna was born at 22 weeks gestation. She was 10″ long and weighed in at a WHOPPING 1 and 1/2 Pounds at birth!
YEP.. 1 and 1/2 pounds–688 grams. Her weight actually dropped to a mere ONE POUND due to some premature birth complications.
Imagine.
She’s the one in the brown vest and jeans with her feet off the ground–holding a BIG trophy that she and her dormmates won last weekend!
When Julianna was born so premature, the Dr’s said that she may not live. They warned us that based upon her birth weight, if she did live, she would likely be severely handicapped and endure great physical challenges. Although we knew that in most cases that could be true, we never believed that for Julianna. We believed what God said in Psalm 139!!
We believed that God had another plan and He did. She is a Junior in College today…winning trophy’s for dancing, and playing brain games, sports and jumping in the air!
Are you facing something today that needs another plan?? Something that needs GOD”S PLAN?? Do you KNOW His plan?
God’s Word says “A merry heart works like medicine” (Proverbs 17:22)
Do you have something going on in your life today that only a miracle can heal or fix or FUND?
Try PRAISE.
Finding things to celebrate brings healing and restoration! It brings hope and ideas. It brings God into the situation.
God says that we are to offer Him a sacrifice of Praise (Hebrews 13:15)…CONSTANTLY and AT ALL TIMES..
Thankfully, acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.
If we do THAT..HE will do THIS….
1) Forgive your sins.
2) Heal all your diseases.
3) Redeem your life from the pit(s).
4) Crown you with love and compassion.
5) Satisfy your desires with good things.
6) Renew your youth!! (I really like this one!!)
Ps 103:1-5 plus!)
What do you think? Is it worth it???
Do you need to offer a sacrifice of praise today??
After you do, stop and see how high you can JUMP!!!

The joy of the Lord reaches its fullness in us when we are able to surrender, and really completely surrender, our agenda, our stuff to Jesus! It is a daily surrender, oh yes! But it is a wonderful surrender! If you are having a day where you can “leap” for joy ..your surrender has been made….If you are burdened with the cares of this world and your feet are stuck (as in cement, sometimes), then you have not surrendered!
Oh, how I wish I had 100% surrendered days, but it is my goal to work towards that!
God bless and keep you in His precious care, my friend!
Love ya!
Pat
