24 Words That Will Change Your Life!

A March Challenge. Are you up for it?

I dare you. I double dog dare you. I TRIPLE dog dare you to think different!

Whoever coined the phrase “talk is cheap” was sorely misguided. Words are not cheap. In fact, they are quite expensive. Words are incredibly powerful and amazing tools. Words can change lives and even change the world.

When JFK asked us what we could do for our country? An entire nation was rallied.

When Martin Luther King, Jr. told us he had a dream! A fractured people rose up in unification to answer his call.

When Neil Armstrong took his “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Humans realized the sky is NOT the limit.

When Jesus said, “It is finished” on the hilltop? An entire human race was forgiven.

However, just like Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. You know the potency of words hurtled in the opposite direction: the immeasurable and unmistakable ability words have to hurt, to wound, to crush. I am sure you can recall moments when you felt the brutal sting of a perfectly aimed jab or, for that matter, have been the recipient of a self-inflicted word attack.

Words can leave us stuck or unstuck.

The bible says that our words of praise and thanksgiving honor God and are directly connected to our life unstuck. What is in our heart will be what we think, and what we think is eventually what we will say. I challenge you today to reflect on what is lying on your heart. Life Unstuck starts in the heart, leads to a thought, and eventually end up in words – to yourself or to someone else. If your heart hurts with the wound of self doubt, say to yourself I CAN! If your heart burns with the shame of past traumas, say to yourself I AM WORTHY! If your heart has filled with the creeping poison of anger or resentment, say to yourself I WILL LOVE!

Unstuck Truth #4: You can change what you believe about yourself when you change what you say about yourself.
