Yes! Yes! Yes!–Just Imagine the Possibilities!
I am undone–just UNDONE by the sweet response to my post yesterday!
Your Comments-Facebook Shares-Emails–Oh my. I feel so blessed and trust me friends, my heart needed a bit of affirmation.
Have you ever been there? Have you ever just kind of found yourself a bit focused on the problems rather than the Possibilities!
I am pretty honest here on my blog and I just have to say, I have been a bit bogged down with the inevitable problems of life and have needed to take a FRESH LOOK at the POSSIBILITIES!!
I love that word–Possibilities!
Look at the Official definition with me:
1. capable of existing, taking place, or proving true without contravention of any natural law (Can I just say YUM!)
2. capable of being achieved
3. having potential or capabilities for favorable use or development
Guess What??!!! WE ARE A CLUB!
Yeah, The Unstuck Woman Club is OFFICIAL!! Yesterday we got our 24 and MORE!!
Together we Kicked off Week 24 with a “Possibilities Challenge”.
Our verse of the week is Psalm 139:1
Oh Lord, you have searched me and you know me!
As women, we should be comforted in knowing God’s eyes are always upon us but I know sometimes we are not so sure. There have been many times in my life, as you will see in this journey together, when I was not so sure God could see me and even times when I didn’t want Him to see me. Yet, when we are able to fully grasp the truth that God knows all our past, is keenly aware of our needs and with us in the present, and holds every moment of our future, it is then we experience true freedom.
Remember this: When we see ourselves as God sees us, we will believe about ourselves what God believes about us.ω
The good news is that although God sees our sin, and our running. He also sees us as we are meant to be. He sees the beginning, the middle and the end. He holds us right now!
God knows your possibilities!!
He is in control and has created us for His glory.
If we will allow God to speak to us through Psalm 139, we will understand that Life UnStuck and real freedom, begins with allowing God to search and know you and me as the women we are. We begin to live the abundant and free life Jesus wants for us when and only when we see what God sees in us and embrace who we are to Him.
So, lets start there and take some time to consider–
When God sees me, what does he see?
Let’s allow ourselves to be searched and known—Past, Present and Future–by the one who truly SEES us. To God, you are not invisible. You are not too broken, alone or damaged to be seen through His eyes. You have not messed up too badly and you are not too far from His grip to be wrapped up in His loving arms.
Ready? Take some TIME, I mean it girl!
Grab an empty notebook or tablet. Get some coffee, tea or some grapes. Sit somewhere alone and let God get you started on this journey of POSSIBILITIES!
1) Spend some time looking inward and thinking about where you are STUCK today. Past? Present? Future? Allow God to shine HIS LIGHT into your heart and let yourself get real in His presence.
2) After you have taken some time to hear from God, write down what you think you NEED to get UnStuck today. (i.e.–money? a boyfriend? a new job? a new body?…)
