My 9/11 Prayer
September 11. 111 Days left to Praise in 2014. I invite you to join me today.
Good Morning Jesus–
I praise you today because–
of all those times I forget to say something kind.
of all those times I forget to be still and, go slow.
of all those times I forget not to worry.
of all those times I forget to count my blessings.
of all those times I try to “perform” and forget to pray.
of all those time I wake up with a heart full of hurt instead of a heart full of hope.
of all those times I try to “impress” and forget to PRESS IN to YOU!
I praise you today Lord, because YOU SEE ME!
Yet..
you still love me.
you still hold me.
you still protect me.
you still direct me.
You are more than enough.
What you DO, what you ALLOW, what you provide–is MORE than enough.
You never leave me or forsake me.
You never give up on me.
I praise you alone today Lord.
You alone.
