Winners need to Email Rosemary at rosemary.j.mazur with your address so we can send your new book!

I shared with you all a few post back how pre-reading this book actually helped me survive a very tough season in my life. We all have them right!? Times of bitter and times of sweet. The Bible talks about them in the Ecclesiastes 3. There is a time for everything! To plant and uproot…to tear down to build up…..to keep and to throw away….

As we step into the last quarter of 2014, although nothing has really changed in most of my circumstances, I have changed. God has done some new work in my heart this year. He has shown me some things that I have been gripping too tightly. He has shown me some places in my heart that were not yielded to Him and He has shown me some relationships that I need to let go of.

How about you?? What have you learned this first Quarter of 2014? It’s a great time to re-count the past 245 days to see what God has done! While at the same time taking hold of the 120 DAYS left in the new season we are stepping into!

As for me, I have turned a new page in my 2014 Prayer Journal and have decided to finish the year by dumping some STINKING THINKING! I am devoting my daily prayer time to PRAISE! I am going to record in my journal each morning, 5 or 6 things I am thankful for the day before. One day at a time. One praise at at time.

Today, I started with my number one Praise–with my family, my honey, my kids (both who call me Mom and Mom-in-Law) and Grands; my Mom and her 82 year old health!; my new home and it’s all new look and finally, my new book journey! (God gave me a brand new idea this week to go along with my book that you will hear about soon!). I am beyond thankful to see Him open a fresh ministry path for me!

I would be so honored to have you join my 120 Days of Praise!

  1. I love your idea of 120 days of praise. I did a similar thing some time back called a gratitude journal. No idea why I quit, because it really helped
me to focus on the positive. Think I will join you with a Praise Journal. Thank you for sharing this idea.

  2. My spirit resonates so much with today’s blog post! I am one that is currently moving through the process of preparation for a move. Sorting through, throwing away, cleaning out, giving away. Something is on its way, although I cannot see clearly yet, I know that I am to get my house in order. To be ready for what’s next. My husband and I are excited to see what the next season of our lives holds, for we know that He knows the plans He has for us!

I am so grateful to be one of the 10 blessed ladies to win the book yesterday, thanks Pat! I am so excited because I know that I am supposed to read Lysa’s new book. Not only for myself, but to share its message with many others that God brings to me. I am also looking forward to hearing about your new writing project! May God continue to bless and anoint you!

  3. Days of praise!!! What a marvelous thing to do to help focus on Jesus! So glad you are doing well. Still want you to come sit on my deck with me and stare up into the mountains!!

  4. I would love to join you, Pat! I need to let go of stinking thinking myself; in fact, Sunday we sang a song I’d never heard–Break Every Chain. So, I want to break the chain of stinkin’ thinkin’ and praise God instead, being thankful for so much I don’t even acknowledge every day.

Thanks for allowing us to join you! I love reading your posts–started right before I met Leah, and I enjoy reading both of you!

May God hold you close today and bless you good!
